It is our heart and desire to help individuals at Greenwood become involved and feel connected here.
Info Link
By completing an Info Link form, you have the opportunity to express interest in the various ministries. You will be contacted by a member of our staff to answer any questions and provide further information.
Small Groups
Greenwood Small Groups are made up of approximately eight to 12 people and have three components: fellowship, learning and service. It is our desire to offer this venue to anyone in our community who would like to grow deeper in their faith while, at the same time, enjoying the fellowship and the caring of the members of their small group.
Suppers of Seven
Periodically, we facilitate creating groups of seven or eight members to meet monthly for a potluck. Each member takes turns hosting the group. This is a fun, low-pressure way to get to know people and go "deeper with a few."
Membership
In order to become a member of Greenwood Community Church, please attend our First Link/New Members Class.
First Link/New Members Class
First Link is a five-week class that we offer several times a year to anyone interested in learning more about Greenwood. We cover four main areas: The Heart of Greenwood; The Attitude of Greenwood; The Responsibilities of Greenwood; and following a gifts inventory, How We Live Life at Greenwood. This gives you an opportunity to know where you might best get connected here at church.
We invite the sharing of personal stories and you will hear from and meet many members of our staff and Session (our leadership board). In the fifth and final week of the class, you may choose to declare and become an official member of Greenwood.
Volunteer Link
In everything we do at Greenwood, volunteers make a significant difference by rolling up their sleeves and joining together to serve Christ and one another. Please visit the Info Link on Sundays or contact Wendy Oakes to find out the best place to get plugged in. |
