Ministry Opportunities
Small Group Leader (Grades K-5) Leads a group of 10-12 children in activities and discussion. Hangs out with the kids during large group time lead by the Storytellers and Worship Leaders.
Classroom Helper (Ages 2-5) Assists the Classroom Facilitator/Leader with the children’s activities, play time, and clean-up.
Classroom Facilitator/Leader Overall leader of a classroom. Coordinates the carry-out of activities with the small group Leaders/Classroom Helpers.
Lodge Leader (ages 4 – 5th grade) For children who attend both services and who the Lodge, the leader helps carry out the lightly structured program. The Lodge is during the 9:00 service only.
Greeter Welcomes parents and children and helps them them sign in. Directs them to their appropriate classroom.
Worship Leader Leads children in large group time in worship using motions.
Storyteller Communicates God’s truths through creative means such as props, video clips, drama, etc.
Technology Leader Helps set up whatever equipment is needed for the day, find out what the schedule is, and run the equipment during the program.
Nursery Leaders Cares for and plays with infants, crawlers, and walkers up to 2 years of age.
Behind the Scenes – during the week:
Assembler Helps assemble curriculum activities and sets them up in classrooms.
Stocker On Monday, remove curriculum bins and put items away. Makes sure items in classrooms are stored properly.
