How to Give
Online Giving
Our website provides the option to create a personal online giving account. With an account, you may set up monthly giving or make a one-time contribution to Greenwood Community Church.
If you already have an account, you may login and give now. Otherwise, continue down the page for step-by-step instructions to create your account.
How to Create an Online Giving Account
- Create a personal login and password, which may be the same as for your online registration at Greenwood. Please keep your login and password private.
- You may use your Visa or MasterCard for online giving. Credit and debit cards work the same way, and a debit card is a good choice if you prefer cash-based giving or have concerns about credit card debt.
- Your first online gift will result in a $1 charge listed on your statement as a "Credit Card Authorization" that confirms the process has worked. The $1 charge is then removed and only the exact amount of your gift will be processed.
- Through your online account, you may set up monthly gifts or make a one-time gift. You may designate your gift to our General Fund, which supports all of our ministries, or to one of the special funds listed. Your online giving account allows you to login at any time to update your giving.
- Even if you don't prefer online giving, you may create an online account simply to view your giving record for the current calendar year, as well as the previous year. Your online account will show donations made by any means, online or otherwise.
- After you create your personal login and password, we will verify that your login is securely linked to you giving record; this may take up to a week for verification before you can view your record.

Automatic Transfer Giving
For your convenience, you may opt to have a pre-determined amount automatically transferred from your bank account to Greenwood's account through a secure process called an ACH funds transfer. You may schedule your transfers on the 7th and/or 21stth of each month. Print the authorization form.
Gifts of Stock or Assets
Appreciated Stock or Securities
A gift of appreciated stock or mutual funds creates a win-win situation for you and the church. You will receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the asset, and the church will receive the full proceeds.
Greenwood Community Church maintains a relationship with UBS Financial Services for the purposes of receiving stock donations, immediately selling them and sending the proceeds to the church. To make a stock gift to the church, please provide the following information to your broker.
- Greenwood's account number with UBS is DK 27603 GM.
- Our advisor can be reached at 303.741.3224 or 800.547.3178.
- Note the name of the asset, number of shares and date of transfer.
- Note the designation of the gift to the church's General Operating Fund or a specific ministry fund.
- Note the full name(s) of the donor.
We would appreciate a call from you or your broker to confirm when a stock gift is on its way.
