Captive Hearts Ministry
Vision: Connecting mothers and 8th grade daughters during the teenage years to encourage them to be deliberate about spending time together, communicating, and following Christ.
Goals:
- Personal growth in walk with Jesus
- Intergenerational communication and understanding
- Connection to larger body of GCC
- Mothers and daughters establish safe zones and traditions
Time Commitment:
One Sunday afternoon a month
Four 1½ hour sessions for Moms in the fall
Cost:
Lunch Money on the days of our sessions - we will try to keep lunch expenses to under $10 per person.
Books - $13 for Captivating, $5 for The Blessing, $10 for Dateable
Activity Costs - There may be additional costs associated with our various activities in the winter
and spring. We will try to keep these to a minimum and let you know in advance, so you can plan
for the expense.

Blessing Ceremony 2008 Please mark this date on your calendar now. This will be a chance for moms to publicly bless and affirm their daughters. We encourage you to invite family members and close friends to share in the celebration with you. |
