Parent Council

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to use the power of relationships in order to energize the connectedness of parents, teens, and leaders at Greenwood Community Church and throughout the greater community.

We will accomplish this by:

  1. Creating an atmosphere of good communication between the parents, teens, and leaders.
  2. Providing parents with a forum to equip them for parenting through information distribution, education, and relationship development with other parents.
  3. Identifying special needs that the Council may feel exist in the church and greater community and communicating and implementing solutions to those needs.
  4. Organizing a program that supports and develops relationships with the youth workers of Greenwood Community Church.
  5. Encouraging cooperation and positive leadership between parents, leaders, and middle and high school students in the church and outlying communities.
