Key Components to Sunday Morning
Community Building: Fun! It’s important to connect kids with us and each other. Create a safe, active place.
Worship: God created us to be worshipping beings, but often we worship the wrong people and things. Our desire is to focus on Jesus through fun and solemn times. This does not merely involve music, it also takes place through prayer, stories, silence, etc.
Teaching: Active learning, sharing experiences, connecting the Word of God to life. This time of the morning is key, the person in charge of teaching has the whole 25-30 minutes, which can involve sharing, small groups, active learning exercises, etc.
