Calling all history buffs! Join us as we begin our journey through the intrigue and adventure that is 1st and 2nd Samuel. We will seek to uncover how God continues to reveal Himself through a boy prophet, a witch from Endor, a blasphemous Philistine giant and an adulterous and murderous king. Through the lenses of confession/repentance and restorative grace, we’ll examine how God used the ancient near-eastern concept of covenant to introduce the promise of Messiah. Rock hammers and headlamps encouraged. Taught by Rich Pilon. Begins January 8 and concludes May 6. No class April 8.
