Single Fingerprints - Serving and Growing in Christ Together
Samuel - Judge, Prophet and King Maker
Sundays, 11:00 a.m.,Mt. Elbert Room
For the winter/spring semester, Singles will attend this Adult Bible study that will take us on a journey through the intrigue and adventure that is 1st and 2nd Samuel. We will seek to uncover how God continues to reveal Himself through a boy prophet, a witch from Endor, a blasphemous Philistine giant and an adulterous and murderous king. Through the lenses of confession/repentance and restorative grace, we’ll examine how God used the ancient near-eastern concept of covenant to introduce the promise of Messiah. Rock hammers and headlamps encourages. Taught by Rich Pilon. Begins January 8 and concludes May 6. No class April 8.
The Front Porch
This Wednesday night gathering was inspired from Acts 2: 42-47. This passage describes how the early church gathered together to: “learn, love, feast and pray.” We are combining multiple generations in the Commons for time to share a meal, worship, enjoy community and have Bible study. Once the meal and worship time are completed, kids will depart to Kids Care/Homework Club, Middle School to Inside/Out, High School to Life on Life, Special Seekers to their Bible study and adults remain in the Commons for Bible study: House of Faith: The Living Stones of Our Foundation. Meals are $5 per person or $20 maximum per family.
