Welcome Visitor!

Since its 1991 opening, Greenwood Community Church has held to a vision of building the body of Christ through relationships. We are committed to building Christ’s body by nurturing personal relationships with Jesus Christ, and extending them to our Christian family and to the world around us.

More than 2,400 adults and children attend services each Sunday. Our belief is that if we offer worship in a grace-filled, authentic community, God will move through us to show the world who He is. Through active discipleship, people come to know Jesus Christ and are equipped and empowered to serve Him in their lives.

The family that makes up Greenwood includes our congregation, our pastoral and church staff, the ministries that we support, and the community in which we serve. We all invite you to join with us as we care about and for the body of Christ through relationships.

Whether seeking a church home or just someplace to visit, we welcome you.  Our congregation includes all ages, various backgrounds, lifestyles, and spiritual needs.

Each Sunday, in addition to our services, you will find all ages participating in our classes from preschoolers to mature adults.  During the week, we have many programs that meet the needs of every age group.

We want you to feel at home at GCC—style of dress is everyone’s personal option; our worship style is a creative mixture of old and new; and an infant cry room is available if needed.

Elders and Stephen ministers are available on Sunday mornings for private support and prayer.

Please take a few minutes to explore our web site to learn about how we focus on relationship.  If at any time you would like clarifications or answers to your questions, please contact us by phone, email, or join us for a Sunday service.
