Music and Creative Arts
Our desire is to encourage the body of Greenwood Community Church in authentic worship both corporately and personally. We seek to create an environment that encourages listening to the Spirit of God, prayer, celebration, and liberation. We believe that worship happens in every ministry of our church. And that worship no only looks upward, but outward.
Music At Greenwood Community Church, we use a variety of music styles in our worship of God with songs old and new.
Worship Leadership Positions There are a number of ways to serve in the Worship Arts. Consider prayerfully before inquiring and let us know if you are interested in the following areas. We ask for a once or twice a month commitment for Band and Vocals.
Band - We have openings for the following positions: one bass player, one drummer/percussionist, one lead electric guitar player. We are also looking for other instruments to ornament periodically such as sax and other reed instruments, violin, cello, etc. (Playing those instruments by ear would be a plus, but is not required.)
Vocals - We are in the process of developing Greenwood Community Church's first worship leading choir. We need singers of every voice part. We are looking to add about another 20 voices.
Dance - If you have experience in classical and modern performance dance, contact us soon!
Drama - Dramas are used to enhance certain themes and messages . Contact us if you have an interest in the area.
Video Communications - We are looking for experienced persons in film recording and production.
